Fun fact, psychology means 'study of the soul'. However, in a material world full of distractions and communication junk food (complaining, blaming or judging), connecting with ourselves and others in deeper ways is a big ask. Swipe left, scroll right, but where's the soul search button?
The Soul Talk Project helps people re-connect with themselves and others in deeper and more meaningful ways. We do this by moving the conversation from small talk to Soul Talk using 'the big 5' existential issues (identity, isolation, death anxiety, meaning and freedom).
Do our 3 workshops over 3 school terms (see below) to become a Community Connector. You'll be encouraged to find your passion, purpose and place, as well as make a meaningful contribution to the community through the 4 pillars of connection to reduce loneliness.

In neuroscience, it's 'we before me'. That is, our earlier relationships shape our sense of trust, identity and even mindset. In short, our early relationships are largely out of our control yet they shape who we are.
It's also difficult to move our mindset. Think New Year resolutions. By the time we're 35 years old, it's estimated that 95% of our brain has been hardwired and tends to run on auto-pilot. For these reasons you'll learn about the hero's journey and the latest neuroscience principles to help change yourself inside-out.
"It helped me face my darkest deepest thoughts and smash them out one by one, for a positive outcome - Karen
Our story runs, and often ruins, our life. We typically run on auto-pilot with a well worn story that is often out-of-date and in need of revision.
Explore the 3 minds: chaotic, contemplative and compassionate and learn ways to move out of chaotic mind.
Also, find ways to revisit and reshape your life story, infusing it with fresh meaning and purpose.
"It helped me to better understand myself and accept myself; allowing me to re-assimilate into life" - Andrew
It's easy to gossip, compare or blame. Easy, too, to jump in and give advice or share your own experiences rather than deeply hear another person. Soul Talk takes a very different approach to relating, equipping you with practical skills to re-connect with yourself and others in more meaningful ways.
